Everything Everywhere All at Once was the standout production of the 2023 Oscars, winning seven awards from eleven nominations. Producer Jonathan Wang collected the Best Picture award and gave a speech paying tribute to his wife, Dr. Anni Sternisko.

“To my brilliant and beautiful wife, Anni: if all this shiny stuff and tuxedos goes away, I would just love to do laundry and taxes with you for the rest of my life,” Wang said. Sternisko enjoys a lowkey life – her Instagram page is private, and she rarely attends award ceremonies.

However, she appears often on Wang’s Instagram page.

Wang flew from Los Angeles to New York City for the couple’s first date

And to the friends and family who couldn’t be there we were celebrating with you in spirit and made a toast for you all!”

Four days later, Wang revealed that he flew from Los Angeles to New York City for a 30-minute first date with Sternisko. “I could tell she was special so I booked a flight and flew to NYC the next morning just for the chance to get a few moments with her,” Wang wrote

Five wonderful years of dating and a ‘perfect fairytale wedding’ followed, Wang added. “Now, I am the luckiest boy in the world, married to the kind, generous, hilarious, brilliant, and beautiful Frau Doktor Anni Sternisko,” he continued. “I’m really glad I took that flight.”
