Charles Stanley passed away peacefully – His family alluded to a natural death caused by advanced age

The First Baptist Church of Atlanta, where Charles Stanley served as a senior pastor for 49 years, issued a statement surrounding his death but did not disclose the details. It said:

“Our hearts are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Charles Stanley. In this time of loss, we are comforted in knowing that his faith has now become sight. The glories of heaven are now his, a reality he taught us and millions of others around the world throughout his years of faithful preaching.”

According to his family, Stanley passed away peacefully at his home. Although the cause remains unannounced, it is plausible that he died of natural causes or advanced age. He is survived by his children, Becky and Andy.

Regarding his health, there was no public record of any long-term illness. The reports surrounding his alleged stroke are false. It was instead an African-American man named Charles Stanley who had a stroke at 52 years old.
